The technical design guide is for architects and builders who are creating accessory dwelling units (ADUs). It provides clear action-oriented guidance and recommendations for building assembly detailing, product specifications, HVAC and hot water systems, and Title 24 code compliance strategies (see a few excerpts below). Homeowners can also benefit from the guide to better advocate for their goals and enhance interactions within the team.
The demo is hosted by Katy Hollbacher and Nate Russell from Beyond Efficiency. Katy and Nate believe that good housing should be attainable for everyone and are excited to show off the guide, which is the culmination of decades of experience and thousands of hours of work!
